    supporting our school, it's charter, our
    students, teachers and parents.
    National and State PTA Mission

    To support and speak on behalf of children
    and youth in the schools, in the
    community and before governmental
    bodies and other organizations that make
    decisions affecting children;
    To assist parents in developing the skills
    they need to raise and protect their
    children;
    To encourage parent and public
    involvement in the public schools of this
    nation.

    PTSA Meetings will be held monthly
    generally alternating between mornings
    and evenings of the first Wednesday of
    the month with some exceptions.  

    Location:  Media Center (with the
    exception of Sept. 1 and May 1 General
    Meetings)

2010-2011 Goals

1.  Attain 100% PTSA membership for NS
families.
2.  Facilitate opportunities for parents to
volunteer.
3.  Assist in tracking volunteer hours.
4.  Provide information for parents to
connect with the school and its programs.
5.  Create and sustain financial viability to
support a strong local PTSA unit.
